The Ohio The Ohio Obesity Society (OOS) is a nonprofit professional membership organization dedicated to supporting healthcare providers and advocating for patients living with obesity. By uniting Ohio’s community of clinicians, researchers, and advocates, we strive to reduce weight bias and stigma, promote best clinical practices, and improve access to safe, evidence-based care through education and advocacy. 

Membership is open to all healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of obesity, including:

• Nurse Practitioners & Nurse 
• Psychologists & Therapist 
• Dietitians & Exercise Physiologists 
• Medical Assistants & Social Workers
• Patient Advocates

Together, we foster collaboration across disciplines, strengthen professional development, and work to improve the lives of patients across Ohio.
